We are grad to be having our Guest of Honor,  Mr. Benson Luk, “Legislative Council Member, HKSAR” and “Vice Chairman of Economic Policy Committee”, for his support towards our project this year. Also we appreciated for the Society of Rehabilitation And Crime Prevention HK (SRACP) for their continuing help in conducting the research of the impact of Play in Child’s development in HK. Total of 815 children aged 3-12 and their parents are interviewed (including online questionnaires and street questionnaires), the result is showing that:

  • For every 3 parents, 2 are nervous and worried about the epidemic affecting the quality of children’s Play.
  • The average number of hours parents spend playing with their children every day has also been reduced from 1.8 hours in 2021 to 1.5 hours.
  • Furthermore after the epidemic, all children want to have more Outdoor Activities.
Edison Lau from The Society of Social Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong
is presenting the result of Play Rights Questionnaire

Therefore, it is very important for us to keep monitoring and giving guidance to the parents about Children’s Play and their development which will also benefit the community eventually.

On the other hand, a big Congratulations to all the awardees from the contest, your brilliant thoughts and ideas became reality which brought joys and fun to many!! No doubt that the children are very creative and capable of creating unique games on their own. Through this consent, we can absolutely ensure that children have all kinds of desires to play, and it’s in their nature! Furthermore, we strategically chose to use environmental protection tote bag printed with the awardees’ work as the winning gift to the awardees, which also promoting sustainable development, educating children about environmental protection from an early age and more important to the children is:

They can play their own game anywhere and anytime!
How convenient to the parents too, just bring the tote bag with them!!

organizations to host the game booths so the kids can have a fun and enjoyable morning!  Not only that, we will also be always grateful to all the sponsoring and supporting organizations for showing their love and support for all our Children’s Play Rights events.
